The machines we cut fescue with sit inside 50 weeks of the year, so I don't bother painting the lumber. Tommy [Reply]  [No Email]

They tend to have plenty of sap and makes it more difficult to paint, especially when just cut at the sawmill. Looks better on your show combine. If its a working girl, you may also want to try to (used) corrugated galvanized sheet metal cut to width. not pretty but most of us got some around on the farm. Ralph in Oklahoma. [Reply]  [No Email]
