Had one of those a week ago saturday, a few days earlier cut some beans loading a trailer load it got dark and I thought I just need a few more to finish my load. Well haha I found a patch of foxtail and got a snoot full and it almost got through before it killed it. so instead of coming back the next morning, I put on a smoke show trying to get it out and torched the rotor belt. The rotor speed adjuster had been acting up so I found bad wires about a foot long between the connector and the limit switches. Then broke the connector body taking it apart, dealer in town didn't have one but their main store about 1 1/2 hrs. away did and was open til 11pm. So went after the $4 piece it took $20 worth of gas to go get. Didn't get the wires back in the right order and it still doesn't work. Sent the load of beans and the trucker called they rejected them for 20% moisture ( varieties without testing) so he brought them back. Patched a hole in the bin floor, put the bar in the door and turned around and fell over the prop rod on the bin door and landed on my chest. Went to the er where the wife works to get checked out, after waiting with the "frequent fliers" they took me back poked me a couple times said well you probably just bruised those ribs here's a script for some pain pills take it easy. I thought to myself I just paid a $100 for THAT! So I have pretty much been laid up since. Worked a couple days but didn't feel good afterwards. Going to try it again today and see what happens. |
