Topic: JD 45 Corn Head Problems Help PLease

As always you guys are here to answer all my questions. I recently bought a JD45 squareback in great shape i want to take the corn head off and go over it before i use it i read the manual and got everything ready to remove it just cant figure out how to get the drive belt off the head. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks Aaron |

| The belt has to wiggled out from behind the large seperator pulley.First work the belt from the 'hinge pulley.Then remove the small 'guard' rod from around the seperator pulley.Then you can wiggle it free.Also,the idler pulley (the one that engauges the head seperately)may have to be removed for more slack.Any more guestions,call(970)417-1178 or email |
