Moline_guy 10-01-2012 19:54:33 216.106.219.38 Report to Moderator	Have been duct taping and pop riveting some tin onto the auger pan on this 6600 for a few years now. I am talking about the one under the augers that carry the grain away from under the concave. It is getting to the point all of the pans need plating. The outside ones I can get to, but the middle ones I cannot. Is that pan made to come out from under the combine? It looks like it won't come out of there with the transmission in? Has anyone rebuilt one in the combine? Thanks for any information. [Reply]   [No Email]

If you are then yes you can replace it. Just remove the shoe auger drive shaft and sprockets. Loosen the plate that the shoe auger bearing go on. raise it up a little and then you can work the pan out. It is easier with the feeder house off and out of your way.
