Bought the 7800 years ago by Freeport,IL Spent 10 years looking for a 7600 and found one this summer close to home

Good lookin combines! I grew up in an Oliver area and there use to be a lot of the old Oliver combines running in this area. I always liked the Oliver combines but never could get one bought. Sadly now there are only a few left running. The old Oliver dealer ship is still there and open they just don't sell White any more, Agco took there rights away because they weren't big enough. They did sell a lot of Oliver MM and White equipment and they are still working on them and getting parts. The 2 guys working there have been there for years and know there stuff! One one these days I going to snap a few pics and post them, People would be surprised whats on the walls and shelves yet. Bandit
 
in the background photo of the 7800 there is a smaller oliver. Is it a 7300 or a 545? I am looking for a few parts off of a 7300.

Nice to see the green version of those combines. We had a red Cockshutt 7800, bought new, for about 22 years. Good simple machine, only drawback was the Chrysler 400 V8 was thirstier than the town drunk.
 
It is a 525, the shed also has a 525 and a 545 in it.
I am looking for a good 7300, seems to be popular yet as the price is higher than what I am willing to pay.
I do not know where you are from Here in Southern WI a number are in the junk yards.
 
machine has a twin straight exhaust with a 413 wedge, I am not displeased with the fuel it takes. Not as bad as the JD 55 was and a whole lot bigger
