Hello, I really enjoy this forum. I enjoy all the info I get but more than that, I enjoy all the old combine pics. Recently somebody had a post on old farm trucks and I was wondering if anyone has some old pics from their youth (or present)of their families using corn pickers. I"m in the mood to get one but unfortunately can"t justify it at the moment. So how about it....any photos of your corn pickers out there???Scott |

You think the 870 is enough tractor for a 323 picker??? Sarcasm off
Good looking tractor.
I always wondered where Case came up with "Desert Sunset", looking at your picture, I think "Cornfield Camouflage" might have been a better name. |

| Scott I grew up on a dairy farm where my dad picked ear corn until he retired in 1994. We kept the mounted corn picker and last year we mounted it again and picked some corn. This year I bought a corn sheller and used the one row pull type corn picker. And then I bought another mounted corn picker and I am waiting patiently until next fall so I can use that one. You should go over to the corn picker forum for lots more on ear corn picking. There are many great photos and videos to see, but it is great to see other photos of corn pickers. That is where my renewed interest has been reborn! |

| Great pics you all. The one with the self propelled makes me kick myself when I see it. The guy down the road had one that sat by his house for years. I always wanted to stop and asked if he would sell it. One day he passed away and everything was hauled off. Oh well, snooze you lose. |

| I found this picture recently. It must've been taken 30-40 years ago. My grandpa is picking corn with the Case 870 and a New Idea single-row corn picker. |

| I really appreciate the working pictures of the old Massey self propelled. Long ago we had a neighbor with one of those that opened fields for us. I think I may have to print these. |

| Go to www.ae-ta.com click on photos at the top of the page. Our tractor club holds a working farm show in Sept, last year we picked 50 acres of corn, lots of pictures. The Oliver with the pull picker sheller is mine and the JD 70 with the New Idea pull picker is mine also. Google corn picker forum, lots of pictures on there. Have fun, Chris |

| I don't have any pictures of it in use. These were taken last year while we were unloading it. It is waiting in line to be restored. |
