Cub Cadet Snowblower

The blower on my Allis is probably giving up on me and am considering one for my Cub Cadet 682. I think this is considered a "wide frame" machine. What other models are wide frame and what blower models would fit mine?

Thanks, Roy

Snowthrower Models would be:
QA36B
QA42B
H42

SnowBlower Models would be:
190-364
190-450

And YES, a 682 is a Wide Frame Cub.

Thanks for the info R Bedell.
Can you tell me what the differences between the QA42A and QA42B are? From what I see the connection for the lifting rod must be different! Do you think it would be possible to make the 42A work on the 682 with a few modifications?

The "B" series snowthrower was designed for the Cub 82 Series tractors. The differences are:
(A) Different Drive Pulley size
(B) Different Upper Arm Links

YES, you can modify a QA42A to work on a 82 Series Cub. Make the above changes.

From what I have found out, the QA42A uses a lift rod connected to an arm on the right side of the tractor. This is where the manual lifting arm is located on my 682, and the actual deck lift mechanism is under the tractor frame. I can probably make an attachment on the round tube arm to connect a chain to go to the blower lift bracket.
Do you have any idea whether the drive pulley is larger or smaller than the one on the "A" version?

The Drive Pulley would be the same diameter, just different groove widths.

The lift rod maybe different, but they are so easy to make, I don't focus in on that.
