Johno 107, Go to Ingersolltractors.com . When the page comes up click on the Illustrated Parts List link at the top of the page and then when that page comes up scroll down and look under the heading " Compact Tractors with Manual Steering " . Scroll down that list until you see your model number . There are three listings for that model as they have broken up the serial number list down into three categories . . You will have to see which of the three your model falls under . Also , make sure that your model does have manual steering and that is your model. I guees the manual and power steering versions of that model is basically the same. I copied and pasted the three model / serial number lists below to show you which one to click one and as to what I was talking about . I believe that yours falls into the bottom link . I clicked on it and brought the page up and I listed it as a link below to your model so that you could click directly on it and go straight to it. If the link dosen't work then go to the webpage and follow the steps listed above to get to it.

Here is the three model / serial number list that I was talking about . I believe that your model is in the bottom serial listings.

| | wizkidskyus Thank You, I do have the parts list from on line. I went to the dealer and the price was $80.00 for the service manual, I thought that a little high so I thought on line I might get one. Is $80.00 a good price Thank You John |

| I'd get it and study it some so as to familarize myself with the inner workings of the tractor. And you'll probably get the cost of the manual back if you sell the tractor with it.At shop rates of around $50 to $80 an hr you'll pay for it by fixing something minor |

| Hello Sir,I guess the price depends on how in detail the book is and and what all it covers and to what explicit detail. Also , it also depends on how gib the book is . I wouldn't want to pay that for a little romance size book that's real thin , but if it was the size of a encylopidea book , then that would be better. But most importantly it all depends on how informative the book is , not the actual size of it. I don't know if you went to the company direct or to a indepentant dealer . I've noticed that sometimes the price is cheaper if you cut out the middle man . So try the company directly . You'll have the added cost of shipping , etc. but it still might be cheaper.. Also , look on Ebay you might catch one on there. Or check into a club for these tractors , like they have for the Cub Cadets , you might fined used ones there. I guess that the price ultimately boils down to how bad you need it and how informative ( indepth details ) it is. It also depend on how much money that you want to put into it as well as to wheather or not you think that you can afford it or not.. Also it also depends on what you think about the price . I think that it's high and I'd hate to pay that price, but that's just my personal opinion. No matter what the size of the book or the cost is , the information found inside may be worth millions.
