Can I put a rearend from a 122 in a 1650?? I know I'll have to make a rod for the internal brakes, and come up with the clutch set up but will it bolt up?? THANKS FOR YOUR INPUT!!! |

| Wouldn't you be giving up the hydraulic lift? No way to run it from the standard tranny, right? I'm spoiled, I like the lift for the snow plow. Just a thought, David |

| Really not bad to do. 122 rear bolts right in. Remove all hydro linkages. Find a donor 800,1000,1200,108,128 for clutch parts. Would probably be best to change rubber motor mounts to solid mounts and use the hard driveshaft coupling at rear instead of rubber coupling.Would be a 4 to 6 hour job to do. |

| In answer to your question....YES.
You will have to make a lot of modification for a Gear Drive rear end to bolt up to a Hydro Tractor. |
