Ignition switch or wire from solenoid to the ignition switch not letting enough current thru to fully operate the solenoid?Or a bad ground on the solenoid? Or the new solenoid you bought is bad?

| | We have this problem where I work a few times a year. Customer says the tractor wont restart after they ran outta gas. Is your parking brake on?

| If it is an interlock switch it would not click the solenoid I think.

| Agreed, IH2444, it wont click the solenoid. Are we fer sure thats where the click is coming from? Could be the fuel cutoff making the click. The Fuel Solenoid clicks when the key is turned on or off. You can hear that when the tractor isnt running.

| Could be , I forgot the fuel shutoff solenoid.
