Anyone have installation instructions or parts list for a kit to install power steering on an older JD 300 or JD316 LGT with the Kohler single cylinder engine? Believe it may have been a Brindley or some other manufactuers kit and not JD. Thanks, Roger in Iowa |

| | Dad has one to put one the second of his 2-317's as soon as I get them both running. One is down for an overhaul. The other is getting a new engine because the governor gear failed blowing the rods out of it. The one in for the OH has power steering on it now. Kent |

| Kent, is that system a Brantley or is it made up of parts from a 400 or something else? |

| The Brantley looks like it was made from Ford light truck parts, kind of a drag link booster system, and the 400 parts give you a full hydrostatic system like a 318. Both good though. |

| Roger, on WeekendFreedommachines there should be pictures of a Brantley kit installed on a JD 300/316. If not, ask there and someone should have them lying around. |
