I cannot find the model number on it. The front plow sweep is mounted different than most I have seen. It is missing the hitch plates only has one seed plate. Any help would be appreciated. Tthe two canisters appear to be mounted incorrectly. The tall one should be directly above the wheel and it should have feed plate mounted on the opposite side shown in your photo that drops down to a sort of coulter disc mounted on a bracket bolted to the side of the frame. The plow sweep seems to be incorrect for the KK-520 as it used what they called a "depth gauge". . There were 5 seed plates included with that planter along with 3 "distance sprockets" that determined how far apart the seeds were planted. There were also 11 other seed plates available as optional equipment. When I spoke to them on the phone yesterday, they were not helpful and stated that they did not support planters anymore. When I first got this planter, there was a flexible seed tube behind the front sweep. As you noticed, it is inconsistent with other planters. [Reply]  [No Email]

The company is still in business, name has changed, I think, in GA, google around, lots of farm equipment dealers sell parts, Plates run around $20 average, EBAY lists several, most of the time, but it's cheaper through a dealer, IMHO. The brinley takes 3" center hole plates. Might be getting scarce, now, but if there is a demand, you could replicate them in plastic. [Reply]  [No Email]

I've never seen any.I did buy out an EX Brinly dealer in a vegetable growing area and got some nice unique plates around 200 of them.There were according to the Brinly manuals I have 126 different plate planting variations made for those planters. What I meant, is that these planters will always have a value, hence there will always be a market for plates. Making these plates in plastic, would not be hard to do, is what I am saying. Search cole planter plates, the ones you want will have a 3" center hole, (3-3/8 at the drive tangs) and a part number of OR XXX. XXX is the part number, # of seed per wheel, OR means right hand drive. They made a version of this planter, for small farmall tractors, that was a twin row, that used left and right hand drives. Google Covington, in Georgia, they bought out cole-powell. There are cole plates on EBAY for $25 or thereabouts. [Reply]  [No Email]
