Are you sure it is not an AJ. Because I don't think the J units came out until 1957-1958.I know of no Onan carb that has a hole in the top.

| | It's a 205AJ and you told me it was mfg. May 1956 but that's no big deal to me. The carb was apart when using the air, just thinking mabe a pin was pressed in hole when new and the air blew it out. It squirts fuel toward the air cleaner.

| Sorry bout that. I have to many irons in the fire.I do believe that carb did have a plug on the outside I will have to check. But it sounds like you have a sticking float.
