Can anyone tell me what type oil is used in the main gearbox on this trencher. It uses a 9HP Wisconsin motor. Any help will be appreciated.doorman |

| IF it has a Wisconsin reduceing gearbox, with an "Overcenter" hand clutch..the Wisconsin books say to use the same oil as the crankcase. The manual has a chart for different temperature ranges...#10 for zero, to #30 for above 60 degrees. However..I use 10-30 in all of my Wisconsin Engines..1 cyl,2 cyl's, 4Cyl's, and have had no problems in 20 years. I've got 14 engines right now. |
