Massey Harris Guy 09-01-2012 18:34:19 24.115.146.98 Report to Moderator	Has anyone found a deck shell from something other than the 14 or 16 that is the same stamping? The reason I ask is because I was at a mower salvage yard the other day and saw a deck on a Simplicity that looks very close if not the same as the 510 deck. Also awhile back I picked up a grass deflector off a Simplicity or an Allis that bolted up to the Massey deck. I have a Massey deck with all good spindles and parts but the shell is rotted and would like to get another deck going. Thanks in advance Frank [Reply]   [No Email]

I went to looking and saw what the Allis deck looks like, and yep the shell is the same. I looked on Ebay and found an Allis deck and in the description it says it fits Simplicity models 5212.5 5216 and the 6500 series also. Thats great,now I have lots of finding options. If the it's the latter, then there is a good chance other decks would interchange. Just have to find out who made them and what brands they made. [Reply]  [No Email]
