Does anyone have an opinion on an electric WORX wg304 chain saw. Guessing it's make in China. It's 120 vac, 4 hp, 18 inch bar, and uses 15 amps. It's the biggest and strongest electric one that I've found so far. Sears is selling it for $90 and lowes wants $120.Thanks

| We sell them where I work at, they are not a bad saw for really light work. Not had many problems....yet. Their trimmers are not bad, again, really a light weight unit, so if you need to trim an occasional limb, they'd be good, for serious wood cutting and if you want electric, buy a Stihl, not cheap, but dam good electric saw...

| How many worxs can I buy for the price of a Stihl? I have a 25 year old electric Mac and it still works. Don't think I use chain saws enough to wear them out. So why buy a New Cadillac when a used KIA will work?

| it really depends on how much wood cutting you do..If all you are going to is trim a little every once in a while, the Worx would probably do you. The Stihl is 330.00. Before I bought a Worx, I would look at a Remington, they are also a low end saw, but are owned by MTD and parts can be had long haul, Worx...not sure about them...
