I've started having trouble with my riding mower. It will run for a few minues..then seem to "bog down" but doesnt actually quit.
I replaced the inline fuel filter that did have some black gook in it.
The little vent hole in the gas cap is open. Does anyone know of an easy way to check for a pick up filter on the tank pickup line ? Or any other suggestions.
Thanks
Richard

| | Remove the gas line at the carburetor and see if there's a full stream of gas from the tank. Use a clean container to catch the gas. If there's just a trickle your tank needs cleaning. If there's a full stream of gas from the tank clean the carburetor some of that black gook may be in the carbureor. Hal |
