George Marsh 07-19-2012 09:19:01 64.12.116.79 Report to Moderator	I purchased a used 5 hp flat head briggs on a troy bilt pony, only to discover a major crack in the intake manifold. I have attempted to repair it with JB weld. Repair, seems to be holding, however what if it fails? Then I discovered this motor is very special. It has two output shafts that are counter rotating, one shaft is for forward and the other is for reverse. Any idea of where I can purchase this motor? Wanna sell your motor for $50? How could I swap the cam? My motor has two output shafts. All the briggs I've seen has a threaded hole where my second shaft is. George [Reply]  [No Email]

Mounted it on a Pony I bought with a froze engine and sold it for $400. I watched for a couple months before I found it. If yours is running OK I would keep watching for a while and eventually one will pop up. I don't think there is even a 5hp Briggs with a PTO shaft on Ebay right now. [Reply]  [No Email]
