M Nut 09-20-2011 18:32:47 50.107.38.204 Report to Moderator	I have a Timberjack log skidder, and was told that it had a Fordson Super Major engine in it. Engine needs an overhaul, and I'm wondering if a Super Major overhaul kit will work? The serial number on the engine is S360817. If a fordson kit from this site will not work, does anyone know where I could order a rebuild kit for it? Thanks for your help. [Reply]   [No Email]

Are there any casting numbers visible on the engine? Maybe something in the 2700 range? I"m thinking you have a late 60"s early 70"s vintage skidder. That would be a 258 cu in I think. Maybe someone more knowledgeable than me about these will chime in.How about a model # of the skidder? [Reply]  [No Email]
