A 1938 Fordson should be all orange, body and wheels. In 1940, there were worries that Hitler's Aircraft would find the orange tractor on green English fields a good target. Starting in 1940, Fordsons were painted green with orange wheels. This color scheme remained until the end of Dagenham production in June of 1945. |
