Problem solved. You were dead on with the pump rack not moving. With it not being used in a while, gunk apparently dried on and prevented movement. I sprayed with carburator cleaner and moved back and forth until it moved freely. The tractor cranked right up after this. I drained the oil in the pump and it appeared diesel fuel had mixed with the oil which concerns me. Is this a sign of wear around pump pistons? Thanks to all for the help and advice in solving. |

| I have a 9000 that leaks fuel into the pump so that it starts to come out the overflow tube in less than 10 hours. I have been told that it means a leaking seal and is not unusual and doesn't hurt anything. Since it runs OK I just drain some off and add some new oil periodically. |

| Thanks for replying. I just changed the oil and will continue to watch and changed more often. |
