Have a power major with pneumatic governor that is giving trouble, upon taking governor housing off I discovered that the rubber diaphram was spilt and the small valve that goes into the diaphram retaining screw on one end(the one with rounded head and small hole in it)and into the adjustable damping valve assembly. THIS VALVE IS MISSING ,do have the threaded housing with locknut , tried to obtain one thru fuel injection repair shops and fordson dealers ,all advise this is an obsolete part. I did get a replacement diaphram but unable to locate a valve. does anyone have this part or able to provide a detailed drawing that I could get a machine shop to make one?

Hi Prairieboy. You are in luck. One of my old pumps still has the part on it. I will send you the complete end with what feels like a good diaphram etc all still in it. Just give me your postal address and i'll send it off tomorrow. Maybe any bits of it that you dont need you will pass on. MTF

If you let me know whwt part you need I'll try to sort it out for you. I can't make any promises but I'll give it a go. Looks like I've got the size wrong Sorry MTF

thanks for the reply. I require all three pieces shown in fig 71 , the bolt with round head, the taper valve and the threaded piece with bushing. does not matter if the taper valve is long or short as long as the part with bushing matches.
