| | Your NH dealer may be able to supply Empire Blue paint. If not, a good original sample of the original colour would be found underneath the front cowl, down the steering column hole through the diesel tank, under the dash box below the fuel tank etc. Somewhere the sun hasnt faded the original paint. Its suprising how dark that original paint was! Good luck |

| Hi You are right that some people use Howard orange. However Fordson Orange is available fro Old 20 Parts Co in UK. They also do the accepted Fordson Blue and ship world wide.MTF |

| | NO - NO - NO ! Ford blue [used 1000 Series 1965 onwards] is different darker blue. Fordson Major 1952-63 was lighter blue colour - called EMPIRE BLUE. The whole tractor should be painted blue including the grills. The wheels were orange, in Britain they use Howard Rotavator orange - you could used Allis Chalmers orange which looks ok.
