I am trying to figure out what my options are for rebuilding my two stage clutch in my power major. Does anyone have dimension of the the setup fixture components so that I can make them? Are clutch disks available? Can the clutch setup be sent to someone to have them rebuild it? If so who? |

| dwol, Have you rebuilt many Major 2-stage clutches? If so, can you explain "eyeball it real close" in more detail? I have a Live Drive Major that needs some clutch work. |

| Eyeball it real close - center your clutches in the clutch pack. Check the splines so that when you put the tractor back together, the splines will line up on both clutches with the tranny. I went so far as to have someone cut the ends off of their tranny so that I could use it as a jig. But I didn't even use it. I have probably separated my 64 4 or 5 times and only had a problem once. Which as I was putting it together a little rocking cured. Good luck, (its not as bad as you think) |

| don't you need to adjust the release points of the clutches so that they release at the proper pedal travel. Did you just retighten everything to what it was before you tore it apart. |
