I have a FSM and would like to know how to drain the 3 pt hitch? I have undid every bolt and no luck. When I do find it, is there something I can use to flush it out? I can imagine it will need it as the rest of the tractor was in pretty bad shape when I got it. To fill it, is there an easy way as it gets an air lock and spits it out if I fill very fast. I used a short mustard container and took close to 1 hr to put in 1.5 ltrs. |

| take out the dipstick,go to the bottom of the differential housing, take out the plug,if your going to clean the filter, remove the four bolts, when you finished, reverse the process. The fill cap is on the back right behind the seat,it will take approximately 11 gallons, because the hyd.lift, the pto,and differential use the same oil sae 90 wt gear oil, that is what my manual says,cw |
