Nephew just bought one of these. Anybody know the cranckase capacity? Hydraulic/transmission sump capacity?

|   Larry, These are from the 8700-9700 repair manual. I would be very surprised if the 9600 was any different. |

| 14 quarts is right for the crankcase (with filter). DOn't remember about the trans./hyd/pto cases. |

| He needs to know the injector pump capacity, which is about a half a pint. I recommend you change it AT ONCE. Recently, I have seen a number of stripped threads in the holes where the level and drain plugs go. The plugs are not very long, and the aluminum strips easily if you are careless. One finger on a short wrench is plenty of torque. |
