 Yes you need a puller to get get off. You can usually rent one from a parts store. Take the big bolt out the center and then install the bolt without the washer to protect the threads in the end of the crank.

|   It is a Covair aircraft motor that the owner added a flexplate (flywheel) and starter off a Nissan Sentra to the front of the motor to make it electric start. The prop is on the back end of the motor.

| I own 2 of those and both cost me less then $10 each. Have had one of them for a couple decades and got the newer one just a few years ago and still cost about the same.
