is it as simple as a pedistal change?are the pedistals the same among them? the NF later models are just so rare around here.. never see them.. an odd 6000 now and then.. etc.. |

Knowing that you are not a purist, a Farmall pedistal nearly bolts right up. |

| Got pics of that changeover? Or can you take some and show us? I like a bit of farmerizing - resourceful. |

| I believe it is that simple. The 4200 has it's own wide front axle, but the 5200 and 7200 (and '76 66/7600 RC's) share the same wide axles. Don't know without checking p/n's, but I -think- they all use the same NF pedistal. May even be the same as the prior RC's. Any time you get a '65-up RC, it will be a flat deck. |

| I was telling showcrop that they are easy to change but the 5200's require a bracket that bolts to the pedestol, then you can bolt up the single front or a tricycle front to the 5200, we have had our 5200 all 4 ways before single, tricycle, & wide front "set out" & wide front "set back" for shorter turning radius, the 4200's do not require the plate, the fronts you choose will bolt right up! Zack, I just checked out the CNH parts page and I see a spacer there, but I don't see a need for it. I just bolted the Farmall pedestal up to the plate on the bottom of the motor of my 9000. Perhaps the plate on the 5000 is recessed? in which case a spacer could be easily be made to afford the necessary clearance. |
