I have a 1952 8N-C Ford Tractor. The 8N-C is embossed vertically on the block. Below that is the number 1. I was tring to find out what the number 1 means if anyone could please help with that information. |

| I read all the info on that link and it was very helpful, but I misremembered where the 8NC is embossed. It is atually on the left hand side of the fly wheel housing and the number 1 is below that. I was wondering if the nubmer 1 meant anything special. Also, when determing the year it was made, the info says that one of the numbers meand the "unit digits of year" and I wanted to know if that could be explained in a little further detail if anyone happens to have that information. Thanks. |
