| | Almost all electrical stuff is made overseas or south of the border. There is no escaping it as there is no one left in the US making this stuff. New starter from CNH for our TW30 was over $400. Got one off of ebay for $100 shipped to my door. Most likely came from the same plant that makes CNH parts. Has been working fine for 2 years now. I knew the starter was going so I had it on hand. One Sunday morning the old starter belched black smoke. I had the $100 spare on hand to fix it and then ordered another $100 spare to have on hand as it is the same starter for the 9000, 8700, and TW30. Not even going to rebuild the old starter. I can buy 4 new ones with out core charges for the price of a rebuild or new CNH starter. |

| Of course you have to add the price that this site charges you to complain about their prices, which is ZERO. |

| | I really do not know what you are trying to do but you need to compair apples to apples. I think......... You looked up D1NL6600A at o'reilly and they crossed it to M67E with a price of $59.99 Then You......... Looked on this site for a oil pump and saw their price was $133.54 While both pumps are made my Melling they are not the same. This site sells pump C3NN6621A that crosses to M67B. O'Reilly can get M67B also but it is $90.99 Now if you want to complain about the mark up from $91 to $134 then you are right. This site did the leg work crossing the pump. Melling is a good product so buy where it is cheapest. |

| Price mark up or is it the quality of the part it self??? Before you make up your mind you need to check as for warranty, who makes it, where it is made etc etc etc |

rstokes,
If I were you, I would investigate country of origin for each pump. They may be very different quality. While I do use O'Rreily's and like them, they are likely getting China/Mexico parts that are poorer quality. I've noticed it most on electrical components, particularly reman. I don't purchase a lot like some of the guys here who work for others or have a fleet of tractors, but the third time I have to take the alternator off and return it, I choose to have it rebuilt by someone who knows what they are doing vs. trying another component from the land of "almost right".
