After I dry fit my replacement tank, just for the heck of it before I painted it, I poured in a gallon of gas in to check for leaks. Sure enough, there's one leak where it looks like someone put too long a mounting bolt through the cage nut on the rear support. Over time, It looks like it eroded away from the inside where it dimpled. Leaks a pretty steady drip. Will POR-15 stop something like this or is it time to start shopping for another 801 tank? Any suggestions or other products that might do the job? |

| You could use an epoxy like JB weld. Clean it really good and let it dry for 24 hours. |

| I would just clean and solder it with an iron. Easy 10 min fix. |

| Sure will! I actually had a leak on a tank that the Por 15 driped out of. A little time of chasing Por 15 back and forth and it hasn't leak a bit since (5 years) |
