Start with the basics. Verify that you have a bright bluish white spark at the plugs that will jump a good 3/8". Short or yellowish spark will not do. Next check your fuel. Remove the plug on the bottom of the carb and let gas wizz into a can for at least 1 full minute. It should not slow down or stop in that time.

| I have never worked on the gas version but are the plugs in the same basic holes the injectors would be in on the 3 and 4 cylinder diesels? |

| Yes, same location and same depth of holes where the spark plug washer or copper washer on an injector seats against the head. They are different heads - gasser does not have the locations for injector studs cast in. Valves, rocker arms and push rods are the same part #s between the two. |
