ZANE 10-03-2012 18:42:39 98.83.74.35 Report to Moderator	How can you tap into the hydraulics on a 3000 without the add on control valve where the adapter plate is located. I know how to tap into the hydraulics on the Hundred series without the control valve by tapping and plugging the hole under the adapter palte and then drilling and tapping an outlet hole in the adapter plate for the return line and using the test port for the pressure line. I've got that rigged on my 660. I need to do something like that on a 3000 three cylinder so I can operate a two spool valve on a FIL. Thanks, Zane [Reply]   [No Email]

Install one of the aftermarket remote port manifolds under the block off plate - part number is HV-5902 and sold here for $88.84. The manifold has an OUT port to your loader valve and IN port back to the three point valve. If your remote valve has power beyond the manifold also has a RETURN port direct to the sump. If your remote valve is a plain open center valve without power beyond the RETURN port on the manifold is not used - simply plug it TOH [Reply]  [No Email]

The latter mentioned single port function is for a single line remote like would be used with a heavy drag type plow. The hyd pressure raises the plow in the lift position of the control, and the other position is basically just "drop" It allows the fluid to run out of the implement hyd. cyl. and gravity puts the implement on the ground. Course in saying this something comes to mind. If you have one line to the control from the tractor hyd system and it is pressurized....has to be to get lift, where does the fluid go that is in the hyd cylinder when you put the conrol in the drop position and drain it? The pressure port on the plate will have hydraulic priority, that is plumbed to the inlet of your valve. Then the PB port on your valve will connect to the PB connection on the plate, which then provides flow to your 3 point hitch. Then the return from the valve is either plumbed to the sump/rear end or to the return on the plate, depending which plate you get. In that setup, 3 point position doesn't matter. [Reply]  [No Email]

It has a 1/2" female pipe port on the right side and another on the front side. I couple these lines to a Cross single lever remote control I bought at TSC which I routed the outputs to 2 QD's. As I recall the Ford uses the open center remote. I don't remember if my 3 pt has to be in a certain position or not for you to get pressurized flow to the remote....fluid that would go to it gets bypassed by 3 pt...probably in the full up position where there is an unloader valve. I remember the older Fords had the problem but I don't remember if my '65 3000D has that problem or not.....don't use it very often. Mark [Reply]  [No Email]
