Yes it is a lever not a knob... It does hold two positions but they are about 30 degrees apart, one is parallel to the lift plate and the other one is about 30 degrees up. both positions appear to do the same thing when lifting an implement. From the manual it appears that they should be at a right angle for the two positions. Is there a good test to tell if it is in draft vs. position when just lifting an implement? - I understand when plowing it will act different Still learning a lot! [Reply]  [No Email]

Could be one of the small pins that hold the latch together that changed between draft and position. Or could be the cam follower pin is lost or worn completely through etc. Zane [Reply]  [No Email]

A spring loaded ball drops into each detent holding the lever in the desired position as it is changed from Position to Draft or vice versa. [Reply]  [No Email]
