I have a 1956 850 without power steering, with a 19-97 Loader which runs off a remote hydraulic pump. I am currently restoring this tractor and have an opportunity to purchase of 901 Parts Tractor with power steering that has a wide front end. I would like to know if I could interchange the 901 power steering onto my 850. If the answer is no, would some of the parts be compatible, and what would I need to complete. |

| | I think the pump and brackets are also differnet on the row crop tractor vs standard utility. Kirk |

| | I was afraid of that, well if I purchase the 901 for parts I will have a pump that’s a start, keep trying to find 600 or 800 parts tractor with power steering. Thanks Dean |

| | The power steering system on the 7/9 series tractors is a completely different design (aside from the pump) than that used on the 6/8 series tractors. Dean |
