Brought it up before about my oil pressure fluctuating about 20psi but have another question on it. I noticed it only bounces when I get off the clutch rather quickly. But... I also noticed today that it also does it when I turn sharply. Is it possible the oil level is just a little low? It's currently about in the middle of the crosshatch pattern on the dipstick. Does it need to be all the way to the top? Could it be sucking air when it sloshes around the pan? When I ease off the clutch, turn gradually or keep the rpm's above 1200, there's no issue at all. Everyplace closed being Sunday night so I can't get any oil till tomorrow to check my theory.

Hello Tom , John is correct about dropping the pan and checking it out . I have seen the bolts loosen up on the gas engines allowing the pickup to draw in air and cause your problem and have seen the Diesels actually crack pickup tubes the same way they crack oil lines on S-O-S Transmissions when equipped . Cheaper to check now before it breaks off or falls off and you lose oil pressure completely and blow the engine . Thanks Tony

add some oil to bring it up and see what happens.

but yeah.. i think you may be sucking air on sharp turns and whatnot..

You could have a crack in the pick up tube that is exposed when you turn or slow abruptly. You "should be" fine 1/2 way into the cross hatch if everything is correct. The fact you are having an issue means that there is something not exactly perfect. Exactly what is less than ideal is a guess at this point!

Personally, I'd drop the pan and inspect the oil pump and tubes closely. It's cheap costing just a new pan gasket and a hour's time.
