Hey I/we might be getting in a tractor just for you. 901/961 from what I have been told. Was also told it had bent push rods which means stuck valves but that could be a simple fix. See trying to give you a reason to come up out of hurricane alley and see how we live in tornado alley LOL Oh and that is not the only tractor. Guy says if we don't get them the scrap man will. Also has a MF85 diesel and a couple MH one is a 44 he thinks. All fence row tractors so might be fun to play with

I'll post again on Friday what we find out. One or 2 of them are said to have loaders on them which might be a plus or more of a pain.

I do plan on getting a 960 / 961 one day.. just not looking for one with unknown engine problems right off the bat. maybee if it was a local unit I could run down and look at pull valve cover etc.. might be different.

Don't you or haven't you learned yet that I buy non-running and sell running?? LOL Ya my friend said bent push rods but both he and the guy who has them know very little when it comes to turning wrenches so it could well be an easy fix or major problems but I'll have a good guess after Friday and if all works out one or more will be pulled in and then my ATF will go to work on them LOL
