Is there an adjustment as to how far the lift piston comes out of the cyclinder on an NAA? Thanks Dave. |

| like soundguy said as long as your oring or leather isn"t showing you"ll be alright, But I have seen the neutralizing pin bent a time or too that will allow the piston to travel farther than needed. |

| When I look in the fill hole I see the piston hit the feeler and then stop, but the piston is out of the cyclinder at least an inch and I worry that the O-ring could pop out. Is there a way to adjust the feeler? I did not see anything in the I.T manual about that. Or is this normai for the piston to come out that far? This is the 3rd time I have had the lift cover of to repair my lift so I just wanted to make sure the piston was ok before I put the cover back on. Thanks Dave. |

| | refer to your I&T service manual, page 40 ( depending on version ).. fig fo79.. there is an A and B oring piston. the later, (newer) B type piston has the oring moved closer to the closed side that sets facing into the bore,.. if your oring is not poppin outta the bore.. it's not gonna get cut.. Follow the adjustment procedures and you should be good to go. soundguy |

| The first time I took the cover of I installed the new version piston. I did adjust the linkage the way the manual describes without having the ford tools. The manual says to have the hole in the lift arm 1/2 inch above the gasket surface,I assume they mean the center of the pin hole, I hope. Dave. |
