After we bled the injectors the tractor started wide open and will not throttle down. The linkage moves but doesn't change the running. Does any one have an idea what the problem might be.

Is the throttle linkage off or still connected?

sorry I didn't see your question the other day. The linkage is connected and you can see it move. Thanks

Which 2000?
The 1962-64 4 cyl or the 65+ 3 cyl?

3 cyl when it cranks in the idle throttle position it runs wide open as if it was in the wide open throttle position and will not throttle down to an idle

What is the solution if the governor is stuck? The books I have on working on this tractor does not mention this. Thanks for your replies.

you'll have to send it to a pump shop, so it can be re-built and calibrated. if the gov cage is wore, other parts probably are to.
