got some rain from IDA yesterday.. suposed to get some today as well.

I was out feeding hte horses and chickens as the sun was coming up and thought about the seed again...

I've been holding off putting down rye seed for rain, and figured this was my chance... I work most of the week, so I hit the barn and had the 660 running around the pasture with the broadcast spreader ..

after I was going it occured to me I was still wearing a house coat and boxer shorts.!

would have made a good pic I think!

I can identify ... The first morning after we moved out of town into the country, where we couldn't see our next door neighbor's house from our house, was to have a pajama parade around the yard. The only spectator was a baby skunk that came waddling by. What a hoot!

Hmmm, every morning for this week there has been ice on the birdbath.

Must be nice to go out in boxers and not freeze off anything important!

You sure about the boxer shorts? I think I saw that flash all the way up here in GA. :)

I put out some snow seed a few days ago. I'm sure it will be sprouting and I'll have a yard full of it here soon.

Surely you're a man who loves his tractors. Who else would try to get some seat time in his house coat and boxers?

It's my motto that the first time a neighbor sees me less than fully clothed, it was an accident. If they see it a second time, they were looking for it!

Yeah, that would make a great pic. Maybe the neighbor has one of you that you could post?

We live in a retirement community. All of the houses are close with minimal yards. It's not an uncommon sight around here to see your neighbors running around in their boxers & flip flops or nightgowns & curlers...

But planting on your tractor???????? :D :D :D :D

everyone here has a few ac.. but I bet a pair of binocs would have helped.

that or google earth had to delete some content from this am's pass :)

I went out and walked the dogs, fed the horses and chickens.. and then decided.. what the heck.. should only take me a few minutes to start the tractor.. pull out o fthe barn.. drop the cultivator.. then hitch the seeder.. then spread some seed... by the time I knew it.. it was daylight and I was putting out seed... kinda wish I DID have a pic of that.

It must have been warm in your area. If you had done that at my house this morning the wind would have blown the seed to the neighbor's property.

I put some seed down on Saturday. Our rain was not that heavy all at once but we had a good steady day of rain. Hopefully the seed will start showing soon.
