joe years ago i used to use the same method to clear out fouled spark plugs would pull off plug from offending cylnder and let that thing jump about 1 1/2" for 30 secs and usually it would clean up and run fine once the cyl got warmed up al |

| Sounds like Dean and you are on the same track. I will pull the plugs in the morning and maybe even put the old ones back in just to see if it helps. Thanks Al. |

| joe i forgot to add that method also works on plugs that cracked along the insulators inside. they could look like new on the inside and when you test them out of the cylinder and get good spark but when you put them back in the cylinder they short out the compression forces it to discharge along the crack in the insulator i know it sounds screwy i've had it happen to me several times i,ve noticed that over torqueing of the plugs and also heavy fuel flooding in very cold weather al |
