I saw a ad in the local trader for a 1953 jubilee. in the ad it said that it had a sherman transmison and it had live pto. I didn"t think any of the jubilee had live pto. I thought that some one here could might know for sure.

thanks Ed

I might add that the other post is right about the live PTO may not be ok since I have never seen one that worked but have seen parts left after they were replaced with origenal shifters.

The Sherman Co that made the Sherman aux trans. also made a Live PTO to go in the NAA which is what a Jubilee is

If it did have both a Sherman Combination tranny AND a working Live PTO on it those items - if removed and sold seperately would bring $1500 - $2000.
Would be a be a cheap way to buy a tractor, as the parts to put it back to original could be included in the sale/trade.

Keep in mind that the Sherman (brand) 'Live PTO' option in the NAA is hydraulically actuated and parts are NON existent. Check the operation of this feature thoroughly prior to purchasing the tractor.
The Sherman transmission is almost certain to be a 'Combination'/3 speed and is the best of the types. Parts for THIS option are a bit easier to find.

Good hunting,

jim
