If you're talking about a 4000 AP with an intergral power assist setup... then just buy some steel tubing and flare up some new lines. It might take some practice if you're not familiar with flaring, but you'll get it. Make sure you double flare them. If you also need to buy a flaring kit, don't buy a cheap one. Those are OK for copper... but they will not hold the steel line for the double flare. Get a good Weatherhead kit or something similar. Probably going to cost you a hundred bucks or more. Also remember to buy the line clips for the new line once you get it set in place or the vibration will break the new line off at the flares...Rod |
