That's not the one from Altona is it? That one was a standard wasn't it? I got used to clutches on these things, but I find the plastic Chevy truck pilot tool is quicker than the expensive steel pilot kits. I like those 14x24's, looks like they really mean business with those tires! Great find and good luck with it! |

| | No, its not the Standard diesel from up north. He just relisted that one last week so it's not to late for you to get a good running Standard! It's actually in Moores Forks..I think the pictures in the older ads where taken when the tractor was at a different location. I do like those 14.9x24s. Even better, these are the loop style centers instead of the clamp style centers so if I need a new rim sometime down the road they will be easier to find. The rims on there now appear to be solid though. Dan |

| Two thousand two hundred dollars... all of Moores Forks isn't worth 2200 bucks! I just happened to have nothing to do today, checked out Craigslist, and took home a set of 14.9x24's on MF hubs... but the clamp rims, I have another older set like them, luckily none are too rusty. I prefer the loops too, but... seems the clamp rims are more common as an industrial part than an ag one, a big commercial tire place I go to near Hartford stocks a good range of clamp rims, so they are around. |

| I think Tony has had his fill of the standard deisels, and the gas version is hard to buy parts for. That's one hell of a buy i think, sure hope one don't show up on cl down here. With 4 tractors and a 1/2 a hoe and only 4 1/2 acres I'm out of space! |

| I know what you mean about lack of space. The solution is to avoid looking at Craigslist..ignorance is bliss as they say. Hard to resist though. |

| 2 I don't think Tony has had his fill he is just trying to figure out how to work on them correctly then he will be hogging up every one he can find. He may even put up his "Standard Diesel Engine Repair" sign. |

| Yep Richard he's probably well schooled on the standard and thanks to him I'll NEVER buy one. |
