Is the ring gear on a High-Crop the same as a Utility? The numbers on casting of housing is the same, but I didn't know if the ring gear is different for the larger tires. |

| Sorry, I was asking about ring gear and pinion. I bought a utility tractor with a busted rear housing. I have a good high crop rear end, but didn't know if they were different. I'll use two to make one tractor. |

| The parts book shows: 182 089 M1 Gear, Ring (37 Teeth) (Order 82 115 M91) which this 2nd number refers to the "Mated Gear Set". I am sure there are different tachometers for the HI and the Utility but as far as the ring and pinion I do not know. I believe Paul in AZ will let you know if he is around today. |

| If you are talking about the starter ring gear the parts book only shows one number 1 750 034 M1 Gear, Starter Ring. |
