Looked at F40 (57) today an it has a odd serial number. CHM--What does the H stand for? Never seen it before and can't find any info on it. Thanks Mickey |

I have a list that shows C as High clearance/ H as High Altitude gas Engine/ M Dual Clutch. Sounds logical I suppose. N was Perkins Diesel A3-152...John(UK)

Do you think FENA made a mistake and has a N for the H?

Yes,I feel that is what happened. I had mentioned this to them earlier and Judy said she will pass it on. Then later she let me know as soon as the web site people have a chance they will get it straightened out.

There is no H in the numbers. Only N for High Alitude and Perkins.

H stands for "High Altitude Gasoline Engine" I am sure it shows on the FENA site.

If you looked at the FENA site the first N should be a H and the second N is a Perkins Diesel which I believe is correct. There shouldn't be two Ns in that column.
