I am thinking about buying a TO 30. I have seen pictures and talked to the man who is selling it. It has pretty much been gone thru with new paint and new rear tires. I know nothing about this line of tractors, I have a Farmall H. I would like to know what to look for when I see this tractor before buying and good or bad input on the TO 30. Thanks in advance for your advice and help!!!! |

| High priced or relatively difficult things to check include the steering, brakes, and hydraulics, in addition to how the engine runs. You know the tires are good. |

| | Go for it. We had a TO30 on the farm from 1952 untill 2002 when I retired. Used it mostly as a loader tractor. F10 Farmhand. steveormary |

| Just buy it. The savings in gas for most all jobs will be worth it. No more magneto experts. You don't need a step ladder anymore either. Tires are a third the cost, on and on.... |
