John (UK) 09-21-2009 13:04:53 88.109.123.127 75776 Report to Moderator	That oil is far too thin for those hydraulics and certainly too thin for the transmission, don't forget that it has to lube the rear axle as well and you do not use these hydraulic oils to do that. Getting the 80W-90 gear oil is not a problem. I was just thinking that since newer tractors use the Trans-hydraulic oils for both the transmission and the hydraulics, it might work for my Fergie as well. Thanks for your help!
