i was just this afternoon, flippin through my new Steiner Tractor Parts Catalog and i saw dog legs for Ford tractors but not Fergusons. Are the dog legs (hood supports) for the 2N, 8N, and 9N the same as on a Ferguson TO-35? i really need me a new set as the ones i have now are a hopeless cause! Thanks for any help! Jake H (NC) |

| | The Ford parts look the same, but they are not. Keep an eye on the classified adds here and also on Ebay. I recently bought a pair of doglegs and footpads or running boards that were all in pretty good shape on ebay. Good luck. |

| I doubt they are the same. The Ford hood and doglegs don't pivot up like the Ferguson. You have to unbolt the Ford sheet metal piece by piece to remove it to get to the gas tank, etc, unlike the Fergie which you can raise on the pivot of two bolts. But my answer is speculation, not based on actual experience of trying to put a Ford dogleg on a Fergie. I have bought and put one of those doglegs on a Ford 600 however, and they work fine and are good quality. |

| Check through all of the classifieds here and the photo adds. I just saw a pair last week. I am almost certain. I am looking for a new grill or a whole new hood if anyone can help. Eric |
