I made the mistake of cleaning the sediment bowl on my to 20 last weekend. Now it leaks and the smell and danger of gasoline is really bothering me because the tractor is stored beneith my walk out deck. Anybody know the part number of the sediment bowl gasket I need that I can pick one up tomorrow at NAPA or someplace else? |

| If your'e in a rural area NAPA may be the way to go, however, where I am, they look at me like I have 2 heads if I inquire about a 1950 model Ferguson. They even say "you mean Massey Ferguson, don't you?". Please don't get me wrong...they are a great parts house! They just don't know tractors like tractor people. My 2cents worth. Mike |

| I had a similar problem and tried to make a gasket with little sucess. Took the bowl to the Ford dealer and he fixed me up quick and cheap. I assume it's the same as an 8n or something thereof. Good luck, have fun!!! Mike |

| Mine was a sludge pot when I first got the tractor... For a quick fix, use a "form-a-gasket" type material and make the smallest bead around the top edge of the sediment bowl you can,,,, let it get as cured as possible, reassemble and you're rockin'. Make sure the gasket material is OK for fuels, some of them are really specific about what they CAN'T be used for. |
